Rather than come together for the good of the citizenry and solve the real problems in America like inner city crime, homelessness, gun violence, costly health care, addiction, high cost of living, income equality and crumbling city and state infrastructure to name just a few, instead the “Elites” on the right and left of the American political spectrum, along with academics and the news media, choose to exert their dominance and power over the people by dividing, confusing and conquering them by distracting them from the very real, unsolved problems in America. For example, the Elites distract the general public from the poor screaming for help in their fight against out-of-control, inner city crime by distracting the general public to focus instead on immigration problems at the southern U.S. border.
The Elites distract the American public with ‘virtue signaling’ by promoting do-gooder laws full of loopholes and proposed legislation compensating anyone and everyone that could possibly have ever been victimized by American capitalism which, in the end, only really results in taking away more and more of the peoples’ freedom, and at the same time making the public feel guilty about their sinful, immoral past and shameful consumptive habits, while the Elites continue to pander, plunder and bribe, living greedy, super-sized lifestyles in larger than large, well-protected, gated estate homes with high walls and flying everywhere on private jets…carbon producing jets too often provided by U.S. taxpayer dollars.
Have you ever seen one of the famous Elites taking a subway, a train or bus or flying in the cheap coach section on a commercial airline? Of course not because they deplore the working man or woman and will not mingle with them unless they are seeking their vote to remain in public office or trying to persuade the public to buy into the green investments the Elites created, the same green investments where the Elites have invested their money. The more the Elites make the American public submit and feel guilty, and the more the Elites come across as all-knowing, social credit scorekeepers and virtuous for the common good, the more power and money the Elites gain. It is a win-win for the Elites because ‘not knowing’ is what makes the American public…the American public.
