AMERICA’S ACHILLES HEEL: NEW DISEASES OF THE BODY SOCIAL

Our very existence is a free gift from Mother Nature’s sun and we all are aware that Mother Nature views life as cheap. In between when an old world is dying and a new world is being born…it is a time of ‘people monsters’ filled with fear, permissiveness, lack of discipline and strength, or what they called in the ‘old world’…the devil’s work.

This was all vividly exposed and joyfully learned, here in America and abroad, by America’s opponents during the civil rights riots and virus pandemic of 2020. These type events will be used to further weaken, divide and conquer America, creating a slow death spiral for America’s taxpayers and thus bankrupting Western capitalism with wave after wave of weaponized pandemics, leaderless acts of terror from conceivably un-attributable sources to keep America guessing, costly new threats, battles and wars inside and outside America, for example, like the current worldwide ‘eat the rich’ activist movements, all preying on America’s fears and weaknesses now obvious in every oppressor’s battle plan, ground game for upcoming attacks on America.

If America’s population continues to live in fear and exhibit to the world its exposed weaknesses, if America cannot meet the challenge and counterbalance the opposing forces in the rest of the world then the China Belt and Road Project plans for just one dominant world power by 2050 can succeed. Thus, many American families today, consciously or unconsciously, are having their children learn Mandarin Chinese.

In America, with decaying communities in revolt, and mutual, endless hatred among differing camps, an ever-growing gap between the ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’, an empty national government for decades out of Washington, D.C. led by morally and intellectually bankrupt, mainstream political parties, and a populace mood of cynical exhaustion with no vision of a shared identity or future…it is time to pay up America.

Traditional American civil rights are ‘dying on the vine’ like free speech, for example, Americans being inhibited about what to talk about in public and what not to talk about in public. Also dying a slow death is the freedom to assemble and resist against mob rule, the integrity of valid and reliable voting results and so on. In the past, the new, typically under-the-radar, political sensibilities were ‘culture jamming’ movements like the Environmental Liberation Front (ELF) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Today, the new culture revolution just starting to percolate in America is the Mental Liberation Front (MLF).

The MLF rejects junk science, junk culture, junk punditry, junk economics, junk media, junk social media and people treating each other like junk, in favor of personal protection over behavior control and political propaganda by the ruling classes. The MLF is a strange brew of unassuming liberal, progressive, conservative, populist and independent philosophies where unpretentiousness, modesty and humility are ‘cool’ and self-centered impulses are inhibited.

For example, the world population did not ‘sign up’ for ‘total surveillance’, via the internet or otherwise. The American MLF will pass anti-surveillance laws against government, social platforms, advertisers and so on banning their gratuitous surveillance like ‘location data’. It will stop the reckless accumulation of personal data and only allow the collection of personal data for the task at hand and if this data is collected it must be erased or collected only if individuals remain anonymous.

The new laws, once enacted in America and if ever enacted worldwide, will be designed to protect individuals from how we create, use, control, collect and disperse personal data. Furthermore, the ‘corporate death penalty law’ from the 1700s in America will be reinstated and any corporation ‘breaking the law’ three times and the corporation’s corporate charter will be revoked and the company’s owners and management terminated. Any corporation violating the law will be broken up and/or reorganized under new management unbeholden and not tied in any way to the prior founders, owners and/or management convicted of breaking the law.

For example, the founder and CEO of Amazon and richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, bankrupts ‘mom and pop’ businesses worldwide in various, quasi-nefarious ways while Amazon transactions add to his personal fortune at $2500 every second of every day, 365 days of every year. By comparison, many caregivers on the ‘front line’ in health and medicine do not make a living wage taking care of the sick, elderly and unwanted in America.

The MLF will demand accountability from surveillance and corporate conglomerates. Moreover, 99% of all government secrecy will be eliminated. Also related to MLF is action on a national level for the ‘true cost’ of goods, for example, the ‘true cost’ of manufactured products and farm animal production for human consumption and the effects they have on the environment.

For example, the ‘true cost’ of meat-eaters may be abusing the planet beyond comprehension. For example, 87% of all U.S. agricultural land is used to raise animals for human consumption. This is 45% of the total land mass in the USA. More than one half of all water consumed in America is used to raise animals for human consumption. It takes 2500 gallons of water to produce a pound of meat while it takes just 25 gallons to produce a pound of wheat. A vegetarian diet for one person requires 300 gallons of water per day to produce the food a vegetarian diet requires while a meat-eater’s diet requires over 4000 gallons of water every day. Furthermore, raising farm animals for human consumption contributes more water pollution than any other industry in the U.S., and equals 87,000 pounds of meat per second per meat-eater which too often ends up contaminating water sources. More than one third of all raw materials and fossil fuels used in the U.S. are used to raise animals for human consumption.

Producing just one hamburger patty takes the same amount of fossil fuel as it does to drive a car 20 miles and enough water to take 17 showers. It takes clearing fifty five square feet of the earth’s rain forests to produce just one quarter pound hamburger, and an acre of trees disappears in the U.S. every 8 seconds just to grow crops to feed the animals we raise for meat. To feed the animals takes 80% of the corn and 95% of the oats grown in the U.S. The livestock industry is accused of using up to 50% of the USA’s available water supply just to feed livestock.

All the cattle on earth alone eat the same amount of food it would take to feed nearly 9 billion people. Meat-eaters will leave behind a heavy environmental toll that future generations will be forced to cope with and pay for. In addition, meat-eaters may have up to a 50% chance of dying of a heart attack compared to vegetarians. Up to 60% of Americans dying each year may be dying from diseases possibly linked to meat consumption according to meat industry critics.

Each year 9 billion farm animals are killed for food not counting those which die of stress, suffocation, injuries and disease. Just one typical American meat-eater may be responsible for the death of up to 2400 farm animals each year which includes approximately 2287 chickens, 92 turkeys, 31 pigs and 12 cows and/or calves. (Calves lead a tortured, inactive life inside a warehouse inside a tiny box. Inactivity keeps their meat tender. Once slaughtered they are served up as tender veal, somewhat of a delicacy among meat-eaters).

The average American consumes up to 5 times more of the earth’s resources than someone in Mexico, 10 times more than someone in China and 30 times more than someone in India. Americans are the most voracious consumers in the world but only make up 5% of the Earth’s population while consuming 25% of the Earth’s natural resources.

Americans over-consume to feel good and to impress. Consumer culture is greedy and as a result the planet Earth’s resources may be diminishing for future generations. The answer may be a simple one. Consume less…simplify your lifestyle.

American politics may possibly just need new political blood like a viable 3rd political party full of conservative environmentalists to keep monetary budgets under control, but which also has environmental accountability, Green Party leanings, and also leans toward the Constitutional Party to sustain freedoms for the people, as well as leans toward the Libertarian Party to keep U.S. government regulations reasonable and not over-reaching. It would be a political party with ecological vision but with practical solutions, if mankind and the planet are ever to attain sustainability. A political party for genuine change would have to attract voters from the ranks of the agitators and the agitated.

Unfortunately, the reality is odds are the only way for a third political party to take hold and survive in today’s existing self-absorbed, wasteful, commercial consumer American culture, several generations of existing voters in America need to die out and leave it to future decision makers to figure out how the planet and mankind can realistically make it to the year 3000.

So when can the MLF come into power? When the national conversation we need to have as a nation that all the pundits and activists are always asking for. For example, have numerous, three to four hour nationally televised/streamed debates airing all sides of particular issues of national importance, informing the public with enough information so they can make their own informed decisions based on all angles of available information. Airing all sides of important issues nationally, without relying on being spoon-fed limited and biased information by the partisan political leaders, can actually make the public as, or more informed, than the ruling classes, decision makers. However, this cannot be allowed to happen…or the political leader, decision makers risk losing control and power if the uninformed, once and for all, become informed.

Instead, the public is only ever really allowed to get partisan bits and pieces of information from a complicit, greedy, morally bankrupt, corporate conglomerate news media and social media. The owners/operators in the news media and social media keeps the public more confused than informed, thus keeping the ruling classes in charge spoon feeding the public what to think about and focus on, while keeping the public polarized and divided, because once united, the ruling classes risk losing power…and all ruling classes know this. The key is to ‘play’ the public for the uninformed fools they are. Politics is power…who rules who.
