True selfishness may be the ONLY friend you can trust because unselfish people can turn “on and off” their loyalty like a light switch. The TRUE revolutionary is the ONLY one you can ALWAYS trust and count on because he is loyal ONLY to himself, and in it for himself, as only a true revolutionary could ever be. This means IF he is on the side of YOUR cause he will not bend or break and will “go down with the ship”, so to speak, while others around you could easily “switch” loyalties just to save themselves, consequently, leaving you stranded.
